Why do I write this blog?

For many years I have had all kinds of thoughts about the game of tennis. It is now a perfect time to spread them globally in order to gather feedback and start a discussion. Please do not hesitate to post comments or write me in person.

Who am I?

My name is Thomas, I am 36 years old and I come from Zurich, Switzerland.
Tennis is my great passion. My main objective is to improve my play and to analyze the progress and the effects of my learning.
Another topic of interest is the very physics of the game. How to achieve an effortless yet powerful swing? How does the racquet itself influence the technique?
Last but not least I am into the learning aspects of the game. The game of tennis is rather difficult to learn. How can we make it easier to pick it up? Are there technical aids that facilitate the learning?
